Dear wave-lovers!
I am happy to start blogging on this website with great desire to share my experience in such cool thing as kiteboarding.
How did this happen? I mean, how did I get into this sport and lifestyle? How has this grown into something more than interest? In short - I fell in love at first sight with a crazy kite that obeyed a small man on the water with a board. If you are interested in the whole story, then read on.
I was 27 years old when I went as a tourist to Italy, namely to Rimini. The city, like the people who lived in it, I really liked, smart, wayward, able to have fun, and sometimes even slightly crazy, like myself. And 3 days after arriving in the city, I was invited to go to one of the remote beaches, which, according to my new friend Pablo, belonged to the father of his best friend. The day was cloudless and hot, like many others at that time of the year, and this was the height of July. After arriving at the magnificent, almost pristine beach, I almost immediately noticed how something faraway in the Adriatic cleverly glided over the surface of the sky. I was shocked by this phenomenon, and even more that could be so rampant, but at the same time obey someone’s control. Having asked my friend Pablo to tell me more about this sport, instead of explaining, I found out the name of the man who controlled the kite, deftly saddle surface of the sea. His name was Armando and getting to know him became fateful for me, which later changed my whole life. Subsequently, Armando became my kiteboarding coach and my good friend, and I took one step closer to my new dream - to become a professional kitesurfer.
